2     Amongst all my drawing and painting materials, ‘poster paint’, usually purchased at W.H.Smith’s, was throughout my teenage years my favorite paint of choice.

12     ‘Exploring the Docks’ project. 1979 – 1980. H’pool & M’bro Docks. Plaster, oil paint & wax crayon on board & paper. The largest piece here is approx’ A2 size.

13 – 19     Examples of illustration and graphic personal work, similar in nature to work businesses wanted before digital design. A period which spanned my post-grad years of the 1980s and proceeded into the 1990s; a period of commercial work whilst pursuing my main task as a painter with an aim of supplying framed oil paintings to art galleries.
